1.1 The competition is held under the rules of FINA and KNZB.
1.2 The referee is in charge during the complete competition.
2.1 The technical meeting is held at a time and place determined by the organization.
2.2 Competitor and his/her coach is mandatory to attent the technical meeting. All cases reviewed in the technical meeting are compulsory during the race.
3.1 Competitor is responsible for presence of his/her own coach, feeding, and feeding pole. Organization can provide in a coach, when requested on registrationform.
3.2 The coach must be able to perform first rescue actions if his/her swimmer becomes unwell in the water. The coach signs a escortcard immediately after the technical meeting.
4.1 A draw will assign an escortboat to each competitor.
4.2 The escortboat is only accessible for ONE coach.
5.1 Competitor will enter the water at a time and place determined by the organisation.
5.2 Competitor swims independent, without touching his/her escortboat.
5.3 Competitor finishes at a place determined by the organization.
5.4 Referee and doctor are allowed to withdraw any competitor from the race when safety of that swimmer is at risk.
5.5 Competitor who withdraw during the race, will be examined by the doctor,
5.6 Competitor has to finish within the FINA time limit (1 hour and 15 minutes after the winner).
6. Competitor is mandatory to attent the ceremony at time and place determined by the organization. Ceremony will take place at latest 1 hour and 30 minutes after finish of the winner.
7. Not following the regulations will lead to exclusion of the competition.
8. Cases not mentioned in these regulations will be treated by the referee.
