TRACK CHANGE

Due to the predicted weather conditions, we have chosen to change the course of the IJsselmeer Swimming Marathon.
Instead of swimming from Stavoren to Medemblik, the route will be as follows.

Medemblik – Oude Zeug  – Medemblik

The swimmers will start at the Oosterhaven, at the Oude Visafslag.
They swim along the coast towards the Oude Zeug, where the turning point is.
The swimmers finish again in Medemblik, at the Oude Visafslag.

The distance for the swimmers remains the same, but due to the weather conditions, mainly the wind,
we decided to change the route. This decision has been made for safety, both for the participants and the organization.
